On July 2, Thomas Hampson presents selections from his acclaimed Song of America project alongside pianist Myra Huang, Head of Music for the Aspen Opera Theater and VocalARTS program. This poignant musical journey takes audiences through American history and poetry, featuring music curated from the Library of Congress.

The recital program includes works by Copland, Bernstein, Daugherty, Higdon, Barber, Bonds, Ives, and more, marking Hampson’s official festival recital debut in Aspen.

The concert begins at 6:00pm at the Harris Concert Hall.
