On November 1, Thomas Hampson and frequent collaborator Wolfram Rieger explore the depths of isolation, longing, and lost love with Schubert’s Die Winterreise, performed in concert at Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Hampson and Rieger have performed the iconic song cycle together many times over the years, including on recording, available from EMI Classics.

 Hampson is revered for his performances of Schubert’s lieder, with Bachtrack saying, “His was the passion and interpretation of a master singer who truly loves the genre and is able to communicate this love to the audience in a touching and moving performance.”
