Thomas Hampson begins the 2021/22 season with his return to Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino as Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Mr. Hampson made his highly anticipated role debut in Sven-Eric Bechtolf’s new production in March this year. For this return, Mr. Hampson reprises his portrayal of Don Alfonso in this stunning production with live audiences.

Performances will take place on August 28, 30, September 1, 4, & 6. Mr. Hampson will share the stage with Valentina Naforniţa as Fiordiligi, Kate Lindsey as Dorabella, Matthew Swensen as Ferrando, Mattia Olivieri as Guglielmo, and Benedetta Torre as Despina.
