Thomas Hampson makes his highly anticipated role debut as Don Alfonso in Mozart’s sophisticated comedy Così fan tutte at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino on March 28, April 1, 6, 8 & 11. Zubin Mehta conducts the Coro e Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Mozart’s colorful score.

Sven-Eric Bechtolf’s acclaimed production features a renowned cast including Valentina Nafornita as Fiordiligi, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya as Dorabella, Matthew Swensen as Ferrando, Matthias Olivieri as Guglielmo, and Benedetta Torre as Despina. The performance on March 28, 2021, will be recorded and, subsequently, broadcast in streaming.
