“No Tenors Allowed” in Utah and Buenos Aires

Performing together since 2010, Thomas Hampson and Luca Pisaroni bring their  “No Tenors Allowed” concert to Brigham Young University and to Buenos Aires’ Teatro Colón this fall. On October 1, Hampson and Pisaroni share the stage at the de Jong Concert Hall, performing selections from opera, including Donizettti’s  Don Pasquale and Mozart’s Don Giovanni, along with Broadway show tunes and popular songs, with pianist Kevin Murphy.

The family duo then travels to Buenos Aires for their first concert at the Teatro Colón on October 4 with pianist Christian Koch. Since 2010, they have taken their distinctive artistry and sense of humor to enthusiastic audiences around the world. Together they will sing a selection of arias and duets that include “Il rival … Suoni la tromba” (I Puritani) and “Eh via buffone” (Don Giovanni) and classics such as “Somewhere over the rainbow” by Harold Arlen and “Night and Day” by Cole Porter.
