“There is nothing more important and exciting in the world of education today than the world of education technologies and their ability to expand outreach and guarantee content quality,” says Thomas Hampson. “The Manhattan School of Music continues to be at the forefront of this endeavor, and I am thrilled to be part in what we believe is the first classical music-related live event in an iPhone App.”
The visibility of Manhattan School of Music’s Distance Learning Program has been continually raised through the combination of past and present national and international partnerships and the media coverage that has ensued. Since the inception of the distance learning program, the School has received widespread recognition for the key role it has played throughout the progression of distance learning technology applications for music performance and education. InstantEncore.com – a classical music platform providing 21st century tools for artists, ensembles, and arts organizations to harness the power of the internet to connect with fans anywhere, anytime – powers the Thomas Hampson iPhone App and is a proud partner with the Manhattan School of Music and Thomas Hampson in this initiative.
