For the first time Thomas Hampson is going to teach at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. The classes will take place together with the Orchestra Academy in Salzau and will focuson orchestral songs by Gustav Mahler (“Kindertotenlieder” and songs from “Des Knaben Wunderhorn”). A final concert is planned in Salzau.

The masterclass is meant for applicants with finished vocal studies. All applicants are asked to send an audio-CD with three different songs (at least one song by Mahler, one song and another piece of your own choice). Please send also an artistic CV together with your entry form.

International Sommerakademie 2006
