To commemorate the bicentenary of the publication „Des Knaben Wunderhorn“ by Clemens Brentano and Achim von Arnim, the Heidelberg Spring Festival explores the topic “Des Knaben Wunderhorn and Its Repercussions”. Thomas Hampson has initiated the realisation of a veritable “Wunderhorn Week” during the festival and will be present as its artistic director. The week will be further supported by the Hampsong Foundation.

Thomas Hampson will offer a Master Class over several days which focuses on the interpretation of musical Wunderhorn versions. His trusted pianist Wolfram Rieger is available to students for accompaniment throughout the course.
