Verdi for Grown-ups

In October Thomas Hampson returns to the Wiener Staatsoper with one of his favorite roles – the doge “Simone Boccanegra”.

The cast will include Thomas Hampson singing the title role, Ferruccio Furlanetto (Fiesco), Fabio Sartori (Gabriele Adorno) and Miriam Gauci (Amelia) under the conductor’s baton of Fabio Luisi.
